SlideWall Is Now Live 🚀 — A Creative Week at DockedByDesign

It’s been a productive week.

After refining concepts, testing proportions, and rethinking vertical space, we’re excited to share that SlideWall is now live.

SlideWall is our new wall-mounted docking mount - designed for setups where under-desk installation isn’t the right fit.

But this project became more than just a mounting solution.

It became an exploration of how a product can integrate into your interior - whether your MacBook is docked or not.

Rethinking Vertical Space

SlideUnder hides your MacBook beneath the desk.

SlideWall moves it upward.

Mounted on a wall or inside a cabinet using three screw points (one bottom center, two top), SlideWall creates a structured vertical docking position without touching your desk.

The V-shaped design allows your MacBook to slide in smoothly at the outer edge, while the back sits flat against the wall. A slight forward tilt makes removal intuitive and ergonomic.

More Than a Docking Mount

During development, one question kept coming back:

What happens when the MacBook isn’t there?

We didn’t want SlideWall to become an empty bracket.

So we integrated a document compartment behind the docking space.

• Bottom section (~1 cm) — fits 3–4 magazines
• Upper section (~2.3 cm) — for documents or notebooks

Now, even when your MacBook is away, SlideWall still serves a purpose.

It becomes part of the interior.

Docked or not.

Two Versions Available

SlideWall launches in two configurations:

Standard — 40 Gbps / 100W
Pro — 80 Gbps / 240W

Built for modern Thunderbolt workflows, from clean productivity setups to demanding Pro environments.

It uses the same trusted washer system as SlideUnder - for vertical mounting.

Flexible by Design

SlideWall was created for people who:

• Don’t want to drill into their desk
• Prefer wall or cabinet installations
• Want flexibility between showcasing and hiding
• Care about structured, intentional setups

If SlideUnder is invisible infrastructure,
SlideWall is adaptable architecture.

This week was about expanding the DockedByDesign ecosystem — not just adding another mount, but rethinking how a docking solution can live within a space.

SlideWall is now available.

And we’re excited to see how you integrate it. More compatible models will follow this year - the first up is Macbook Air M2-M4 and then the Macbook Pro 16"
