How I get your order to you.

Every order ships from my workshop in Rotterdam, packed by hand. Here is when I dispatch, how long delivery tends to take once it leaves the bench, and how customs is handled. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your destination.

When I ship

Pickup Day Tuesday

Pickup Day Friday

Tuesday and Friday are my standard carrier pickup days. Your order goes out on the next pickup after I have printed, packed, and checked it. When I can, I also drop parcels off personally between pickups, so orders sometimes leave a little sooner.

You will get a tracking email the moment I hand your label over. I ship with:

Tracking your parcel

You will receive a tracking email as soon as the shipping label is created. This can be shortly before the parcel is actually collected, so the link may sit quiet for a few hours.

Updates start appearing once the carrier scans your parcel at pickup. If the link still shows nothing the next day, get in touch and I will look into it.

Customs & import duties

For many destinations outside the EU, I ship Worldwide Express with duties and taxes included, so there is nothing extra to pay on arrival. Where that applies, it will be reflected in the shipping option at checkout.

Where duties are not prepaid, any customs fees or import taxes charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are not part of the product or shipping price.

Occasional delays from customs clearance, public holidays, or courier handling can happen. Once a parcel is with the carrier, those steps are outside my control, but I am always happy to help you chase it.

It is worth understanding the two ways duties get handled, because the cheaper-looking option often costs more. Here is the same mount, the SlideUnder Pro, shipped to the United States both ways.

DAP shipping looks about $11 cheaper at checkout, but on delivery the courier adds brokerage, import duties, and a payment-handling fee (UPS waives that last one if you pay online), so it can land around $25 more and arrives with a surprise bill. It also tends to slow things down: parcels are often held at customs until the charges are paid, which can add days to delivery. With DDP it is all settled in advance: one price, nothing owed at the door, and no clearance hold. Actual fees vary by destination and order value.

Most shops ship DAP because it is cheaper for them, and leave you holding the bill at the door. I would rather you never get that surprise, so I ship DDP wherever I can. What you see at checkout is what you pay.
